Crock Pot Chicken Noodle Soup

Slow Cooker Chicken Noodle Soup. This homemade recipes is creamy and simple. One of the easy comfort foods you can set-and-forget in the morning crockpot. Made with carrots, onions and celery. But you can add any other veggies to your liking. Try it with low carb noodles.

We love using slow cookers. It's practically hands-free cooking. Most of the time, you only need to mix up all the ingredients in the slow cooker, set the timer and be off to do what you need to do which includes going to work. When you get back, your meal is ready. This easy crock pot chicken noodle soup recipe is from a friend who has her own food blog. See the recipe here. But it's also below.

Ingredients:
  • 3 chicken breasts (can be frozen)
  • 4 cans chicken broth (10.5 oz Campbell ok)
  • 1 can cream of chicken
  • 1 can cream of celery
  • 4 stalks of celery, chopped
  • 4 carrots, chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • bag of noodles (any type, but egg noodles are common)

Direction:

Place chopped celery and carrots, broth, cream of chicken, cream of celery and chicken breasts into the crock pot cooker.

Mix it up and cook on low for 7 hours or so.

By this time, chicken should be soft and easily shreddable.

Using a fork should be fine and nothing fancy needed.

So shred the chicken and put them back into the cooker.

Then, add the noodles and cook for another 30 minutes with cover on.

Serve and enjoy.
