Ingredients:
  • 1 bag frozen tater tots
  • 1 bag shredded cheese
  • 1-2 cups crumbled bacon
  • dollop sour cream
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions

Direction:

This recipe is based on the video below where they use french fries. Same concept, but using tater tots. Before serving, add a dollop of sour cream and sprinkle chopped green onions.

To make these scrumptious loaded tater tots casserole, as the video below says, bake or fry the tater tots as you prefer. This time, the tots were baked at 425 deg F for 20 minutes according to bag instructions.

Remove tots from the oven, but leave the oven on at the same temperature.

Prepare an oven-safe casserole dish by spraying it with non-stick cooking spray.

Measure 1 cup of shredded cheese and arrange it as a layer at the bottom of the casserole dish.

Add the tater tots on top of the shredded cheese, spreading evenly as much as possible.

Top off the layer of tots with another layer of shredded cheese. 1-2 cups should be enough.

Sprinkle crumbled bacon evenly on top.

Bake in oven again for another 6 minutes or until cheese is sufficiently melted.

Serve with a dollop of sour cream and chopped green onions.

Now here's the how-to video at its fullest.
