Ingredients:
- 1 stick butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 3/4 cups self-rising flour
- 3/4 cups whole milk
- 2 cans peaches

Preheat oven to 350 deg F.
Melt butter in baking dish by placing dish in oven.
While butter melts, combine sugar and flour to make batter in a medium mixing bowl. Stir in milk, a little at a time, until batter is well combined.
Remove baking dish with melted from oven. Pour batter evenly over melted butter without mixing. Spoon peaches over batter.
Bake for 45 minutes until crust is golden. If the center is doughy, bake for another 5-10 minutes if necessary.
The instructions assume the use of one baking dish. The maker of the pictured pie used two disposable aluminum baking pans and just cut the ingredients in halves for each pan.
